Self Referrals

Physio RGPA Self Referral

The Richmond MSK app (powered by getUBetter) is provided free of charge by Richmond CCG for patients registered at Twickenham Park Surgery. It can be accessed on a Smartphone or on the Web and guides you day-by-day through a sequence of exercises and tips to help you recover from a range of new or recurrent musculo-skeletal conditions (eg. back or joint pain).

You will be referred to the App by one of our GPs or Physio, or you can self-register by clicking on this link.

Please use an email address that is unique to you and select the condition you need help to manage. You will then be sent an email with all the information you need to get started.

You can download the getUBetter App to your Smartphone for easiest access or use the Webapp. If you develop another condition register again with the same email address, select your new condition and it will be added to your account.

The app will also connect you to your local; treatment, healthcare providers or support services if needed like Physiotherapy.

Think Pharmacy First

Pharmacists can provide advice on a range of conditions and suggest medicines that can help. They may also offer treatment and some prescription medicines for specific conditions without you needing to see a GP. This is called Pharmacy First.

Conditions Treated Through Pharmacy First

  • Earache (aged 1 to 17 years)
  • Impetigo (aged 1 year and over) – a contagious skin infection
  • Infected insect bites (aged 1 year and over)
  • Shingles (aged 18 years and over) – infection that causes a painful rash
  • Sinusitis (aged 12 years and over) – infection of the sinuses (behind the forehead, cheeks, and nose)
  • Sore throat (aged 5 years and over)
  • Urinary tract infections or UTIs (women aged 16 to 64 years)

Click here to fill in an assessment and self-refer online, or you can walk into your local pharmacy. The pharmacist will offer advice, treatment, or refer you to a GP or another healthcare professional if needed. Pharmacies will update your GP health record.

Note: On weekends, online self-referral may take longer as the practice is closed and will not look at your assessment until we are open. For a quicker response, please visit your local pharmacy.
